Every day 8am-12pm and from 2pm-7 pm in summertime and from 8 to 12 am and from 2.30 to 6 pm in wintertime

How to get there

By bus: take bus n. 12 from Santa Maria Novella train Station (Bus stop: Stazione Parcheggio)

By foot: coming from Santa Croce square, cross alle Grazie bridge and turn left onto Lungarno Serristori, reach Demidoff square, you will recognize it: with many trees and a marble monument in the center dedicated to Nikolaj Demidoff, go through the square then turn right onto via dell'Olmo (on the corner you will see a brown sign showing the direction for piazzale Michelangelo), turn left onto Via San Niccolò, go straight on and you will reach San Miniato Gate (on your left you will see the Rifrullo caffè and a gelato place called Filo), go through the gate and go straight on, go uphill, till you find a flight of steps going straight to Piazzale Michelangelo. Time 20 minutes, medium difficulty.
